Republic Day Celebrations

Dear All, Sairam.

Hope all are doing good. This Republic Day was very special to all 5 of us i.e. Hari, Prasad, Ajay, Bharathi & me as we took part in Republic Day celebrations in a school almost after 10 years.

Our journey started at 6.30 A.M. from Camp Road, Chennai by car and we reached chakkramallur village by 8.30 A.M. which is 110 K.M. from Chennai. Hari’s mom Jayashri aunty along with few children welcomed us.

At 9.30 AM there was flag hoisting by the chief of that village followed by cultural programs of the students. All the students are so talented and showed their dancing & singing skills. We all enjoyed the events. We handed over 3 sewing machines to school HM from Sai Anugraha. We all were very delighted and surprised when they showed their gratitude by felicitating all of us with Shawls.

ETSC (Everest Talent Search Competitions) were conducted to the students & we distributed prizes to the winners and certificates to all the participants.

Sincere thanks to TLN, Director- Projects for providing the prizes & to Kartheeban of TEAM EVEREST for providing certificates. Special mention about the students of this school is they have taken oath for sapling plantations in the school compound and in their village. I was very much delighted and felt happy to hear their GO GREEN initiative. Hats off to them. Chocolates were distributed to all and the program concluded with National Anthem.

In our return journey, we could able to visit historic place called DELHI GATE in Arcot. We reached Chennai by 2.30 P.M. Special thanks to Jayashri aunty for giving us this opportunity and to Hari, Prasad, Ajay & Bharathi for volunteering.

We all enjoyed the trip. I’m very happy that 1st project of SAI ANUGRAHA was successful. Looking forward to serve the society with all your support. Thanks to each and every one who are supporting me and encouraging me in doing this.
