BABA PRASADALAY@ASHRAY AKRUTI

Greetings from Sai Anugraha. As part of our BABA Prasadalay program for the month of October, we visited Ashray Akruti, Hyderabad on 31st October 2010 i.e. Sunday from 11 AM to 1.30 PM. We had cake cutting for October month birthday babies followed by lunch. SAI ANUGRAHA volunteers had an excellent time with the kids of ASHRAY AKRUTI.

BABA Prasadalay : An initiative of SAI ANUGRAHA, to make people aware of importance of volunteerism & human relationships. As part of this program, we visit orphanages, old age homes, schools & homes of special children, spend some time with inmates and have fun by celebrating their birthdays, playing games & serve the lunch.

Ashray Akruti : Ashray Akruti is a voluntary, non-profit organization, runs a school for hearing impaired & underprivileged children. It was started in 1996 in Hyderabad. As of now there are 176 children in the school. In the residential home, there are 63 hearing impaired children. Recently they have also started Multimedia Training Centre and an Early Intervention Centre for hearing impaired.

Monthly Activities

Dear All,

Greetings from SAI ANUGRAHA. Please go through the monthly updates of Sai Anugraha for the month of October-2010 and fund status as of 31st Oct-2010.

Spiritual Activities

• Sai Bhajan at Narbhavi old age home, Shollingnallur, Chennai & devotees houses in Hyderabad on weekends.
• Shri Sai Leelamrutam & Shri Guru Charitra daily parayan.
• Presented SILVER PADUKA covering of 1.533KG to SAI BABA temple, Shollingnallur, Chennai on the auspicious day of SAI Maha Samadhi i.e. Dusshera.
• Samuhik Parayan of Shri Sai Satcharitra on the auspicious day of SAI Maha Samadhi i.e. Dusshera for “SAMASTHA LOKA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU”.

Social Service Activities

• BABA Prasadalay program at ASHRAY AKRUTI, Hyderabad and spent 2 hours with kids and celebrated birthday for October birthday babies & served the food.
• Under BABA Prasadalay program, sponsored 25kgs of rice to kids at sai orphanage , Om Mandir, vizianagaram.
• Blood donation for the needy.
• Sponsored 10,000/- to SAI DHAM, an old age home in Vinukonda, Guntur District under SAI AADHAR.
• Sponsored 10,525/- towards Shiny Jose college fee under SAI AKSHAR. She is pursuing her I year BA English @ Sudharsan College of Arts and Science, Perumanadu, Tamilnadu. Shiny’s father is a watch man in local church near Perumanadu.
• Paid 7,000/- towards Santosh Kumar’s college fee under SAI AKSHAR. He is pursuing his I year B.Com (CA) @ Vidhyaa Arts & Science college, Edpadi, Salem dt, Tamilnadu. He is from poor family back ground and staying with grandparents.
• Paid 7,000/- towards Sumalatha’s college fee under SAI AKSHAR. She is in to II Year Intermediate @ Chaitanya Junior college, Hyderabad. Her father is a watchman in residential apartments.
• Paid 2000/- towards medical help to 56 days old kid MAHESH under SAI AROGYA.

Social Service Activities

• Need to pay 2nd year DECE fee of 12,000/- for Gomathynayagam, Vallanadu, Tamilnadu under SAI AKSHAR.
• Need to sponsor Diwali sweets to children @ Pallavaram study center , Pallavaram, Chennai under SAI AADHAR.
• Need to sponsor education requirements @ Pallavaram study center, Pallavaram, Chennai under SAI AADHAR.
• Planning to collect old used clothes in good condition for the age group 0-50 (men & women) and distribute in slum areas of Pallavaram under SAI AADHAR.
• Need to address medical help of 4,000/- under SAI AROGYA.
• Need to have volunteer support for sapling plantation at Tiruvallur village under GO GREEN.
• Starting "NOTE BOOK COLLECTION" drive from Nov 2010 to June 2011 to distribute NOTE BOOKS to poor children under SAI AKSHAR.

There are few more requests for medical and education help. We are awaiting full details. Once we receive the details, we will be helping them from SAI ANUGRAHA.

Shri Sai Satcharitra Parayan

Dear All, Sairam .

Hope all are fine with Sai's blessings. As you all know 17th October is DUSSHERA. It is one of the important festivals celebrated in Shirdi and very auspicious day for all Sai Devotees as this is the day Shri SAI BABA took MAHA SAMDHI (15-10-1918). We from SAI ANUGRAHA are planning to have Virtual Samuhik Sai Satcharitra Parayan i.e. the same way we have done for GURU POORNIMA in the month of July 2010.

Virtual Samuhik Parayan : As you all know, Samuhik Parayan (many devotees sitting together and doing Sai Satcharitra parayan) is very powerful and it yields fruitful results as all people will be doing for a good cause. As Sai Anugraha has family members in many parts of the world, it is not possible to do Samuhik parayan at one place. So, we are going for Virtual Samuhik Parayan and our motto behind doing this parayan is “SAMASTHA LOKA SUKHINO BHAVANTHU” i.e. May Eternal Peace & Goodwill Prevail in the Whole World.

I request each and every Sai Anugraha family member to be part of it by selecting 1 number from 1 to 51 chapter of Sai Satcharitra. Please email me back with the chapter number selected in below format keeping SAI PHANI & ARAVIND KIRAN in CC. Please spread the message about the parayan to your relatives/friends/colleagues and other SAI family members and make them part of this parayan yagnam and get divine blessings of Shri SAI.
