Sai Anugraha sponsored 4 Education requests with ₹11

Dear Family members & well-wishers, 

Greetings from Sai Anugraha. 

Sharing is Caring is a common phrase and it means Sharing is an act of Kindness and when we share something with someone it is equal to Caring about them. We strongly believe in Sharing is Caring & is our responsibility to Share what we have done in the year 2022 with the funds raised through this initiative.

Sharing is Caring is an initiative of Sai Anugraha where all participants keep aside ₹11/- daily and donate the amount accumulated once in a month. We received an amount of ₹1,85,449/- from 544 participants in the year 2022 and you are going to read how we used this amount to address 4 education requests under Books or Bricks initiative. 

Student#1: Alsamath

Alsamath is a II Year Engineering student from Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, Chennai. He lost his father 2 years ago. He has a twin brother who is a special child and needs special attention round the clock. His mother is not working since she has to take care of the child. Their only source of income is monthly rent of ₹4000/- from their own house. They depend on subsidized food items from Government for their food needs. Alsamath has approached many organizations for getting a scholarship towards his studies but became in-vain. One of his college staff Sambasivam sir searched for organizations in Google who sponsors education and came across a video of Sai Anugraha and our initiatives. He recommended Alsamath to contact us and that is how we came to know about his family financial situation and his dire need of college fee of ₹1,01,000/- to continue his education. Considering the family financial status, we decided to sponsor his education and pave a way for his bright future. We paid his II year college fee of ₹1,01,000/- on 6th Jan 2023.

3 Students from Shishu Mangal Orphan Home, Hyderabad

We host meetings with Care Takers of the homes regularly to know how we are doing, to discuss any needs of the homes and how Sai Anugraha can best help them. In our last meeting on 25th December 2022, we came to know that 23 students of Shishu Mangal Orphan Home at Hyderabad is in need of School fee of worth ₹7,53,980/-. On 30th January 2023 we paid school fee of 3 students Prasanna, Swapna & Jiyanshi. We will be paying the school fee for remaining 20 students by 31st March 2023.

Impact of Sharing is Caring

Total amount received from 544 participants in the year 2022 was ₹1,85,449/-. The total amount we paid towards school/college fee of Prasanna, Swapna, Jiyanshi and Alsamath was ₹1,85,000/-. Special thanks to all the participants of Sharing is Caring for paving a way for the bright future of 4 deserved students with your contributions of ₹11 per day.
