Greetings from Sai Anugraha.

Give your hands to serve and your hearts to Love - a quote of Mother Theresa inspired a group of people to come together as Sai Anugraha which literally translates to “Divine grace of the Lord Sai”. Formed on 1^st Jan 2008 and registered as Public Charitable Trust, we are a 'Family of Helping hands and Praying Lips' across globe, all dedicated to profound social and spiritual activities. 

on 1st Jan 2018, we reached a milestone and CELEBRATING DECADE IN THE SERVICE OF HUMANITY. On behalf of trustees we would like to take a moment to THANK YOU for the excellent support and encouragement. It is a proud moment for every one of us and time to Congratulate each other. "HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS". This would not have been possible without your support, Love & encouragement. 

Decade of journey

In 10 years of journey, we received total donations of ₹85,59,607.33/- & spent ₹84,03,676.92/- towards various initiatives such as Education Help, Medical Help, sapling plantation drives, Old age home visits, Orphanage home visits, relief & rehabilitation during natural calamities, digital classes, Education sponsorship, provided Blood donor details to the needy, supported blood donation camps, organized eye donation awareness camps, medical camps etc.

In this journey, we touched nearly 21,522 HEARTS & extended our helping hand. Students who are supported by Sai Anugraha are well placed in many reputed organizations. Few people who received medical help from Sai Anugraha are recovered well and performing day to day activities and others are slowly recovering. People who received our help during natural calamities are coming back to normal life. 

We joined hands with many NGOs which are working towards a common goal which helped us to touch more HEARTS & to serve needier. We are able to spread the love and highlight the importance of volunteering and maintaining human relations ships by visiting Old age homes, orphanages, homes for special children etc.

SPIRITUAL SERVICE INITIATIVES

Sai Anugraha realizes how important spiritual connect is in this day and age of ever-increasing violence, hatred and distress. Spiritual connect is absolutely important to bridge Human relations and in bringing grace to life, thus the Sai Anugraha Spiritual Trust aspires to provide the communities with ability to experience and realize the divine grace through many of its activities like Parayan, Bhajans, Nama smarans, Aartis, and many more. It does not fail to use technology to make this all possible at the same time in various cities across India and abroad through virtual Samuhik Parayanas, Skype Video Bhajans and Chanting Sessions. Under this initiative regular Siddha Mangala Strotram Chanting sessions, Bhajans in visually challenged homes & Mentally challenged homes are being conducted. We conducted Rudrabhishekam for Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavanthu. All spiritual activities are dedicated for the welfare of the world.

SOCIAL SERVICE INITIATIVES

Books OR Bricks

This initiative is so prominent for Sai Anugraha as we invest in future of the nation. "Once you have Education, no one can take it away". Hence, it attracts significance importance for tomorrow's leaders to have Books in their hands and not Bricks. This initiative is to encourage students to pursue quality education by providing tuition fee assistance, school Uniforms, curriculum books and other related necessities.

We started sponsoring ₹500/- towards Notebooks & stationary in 2008 and as of today, we sponsored an amount of ₹44,07,501.50/- under this initiative. More than 50% of funds received are used towards Books or Bricks initiative as today's students are tomorrow's future.

Sai Vidyalaya

Under this initiative, we adopt Educational institutions and take classes to students who are poor in academics. Our primary focus through this initiative is to teach children in academics, encourage students to get confidence, create awareness on social causes and Go Green initiatives, to develop infrastructure of the institutions which paves way for the overall development of the institution as well as the students. We signed MOU with APNRT under this initiative and working towards the development of schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

We adopted S.M.S. Sanskrit High School and organizing online classes to 9th class & 10th class students. This school was established in 1952 under the management of Andhra Geervana Vidyapeetham, Kovvur which is permanently recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. We started Livable Planet earth initiative and extending our helping hand in best possible way for the development of the school. We introduced Scholarships to top 5 students of X class Public examination, Sponsored school uniforms to all students and working on providing Computers, Science Lab, Students benches, R.O. Water plant etc.

Sai Aadhaar

This initiative plays a vital role during cases of emergencies. All necessary provisions are made available to old age homes, orphanages and to the families who need support effected by natural calamities. We help the needy with relief and rehabilitation. This initiative also serves for medical emergencies such as a database of blood donors is readily made available to the ones in urgent need of a specific type or quantity of blood group.

As of today, we sponsored an amount of ₹18,48,264/- under this initiative.

Distributing new clothes to residents of Old age Homes & Orphanages on 1st January marking Sai Anugraha Day.

Supported relief operations and Medical Camps Organized by DUCT at Puducherry & Cuddalore, by XTEND trust at Chennai, Chelladurai who lost his livelihood during Chennai floods and helped him to restart provision stores at Chennai, CCTV setup & AC system repairs at Udhavam Ullam Home, Chennai in Tamilnadu in December 2015.

Visited Hud-Hud affected areas in and around Visakhapatnam in 2014 and distributed clothes of worth ₹45,000/- to 100 families at Munjeru village of Vizianagaram District & to food items (Distributed 20kg Rice, 1 Oil packet, 500g Tamarind, 500g Red chillies, 1kg Onions) to 50 families at Jodugullapalem village of Visakhapatnam district as part of HudHud relief phase-1. Distributed school Stationary to all students at Kotturu primary school & 10th class students of ZPH School in Tagarapuvalasa mandal as part of Phase 2 and 5 new boats to 5 fishermen at Bheemili village as part of Phase 3.

Distributed wheel chairs to physically challenged people at Vizianagaram.

Visited flood affected areas in and around Kurnool in 2009 in 3 phases and provided 3Ltr Kerosene Stoves to 200 Families, Bucket & Mugs to 200 People, 10Kg Rice/2 Kg Dal/kitchen utensils to 100 families, 5Kg Rice to 18 families, Plates & tumblers to 800 families, Clothes to 400 people at Kurnool, Mantralayam, R. Munthalapadu and other places in and around Kurnool.

Distributed blankets and food items to homeless people in Chennai.

Sponsored brand-new house to Govindammal & Muthaiyan who lost everything due to 2015 Tamilnadu rains at Nemili village.

Sponsored beds to kids at Manaspoorthi Orphanage Home at Kakinada.

Sponsored an amount of ₹3,70,000/- towards construction of 6 bathrooms & 10 bedrooms is in progress at Mogalicherla village, Prakasam Dt. A.P. This will be available for public use from 20th Jan 2018.

Baba Prasadalay

Sai Anugraha is on its way to showcase the world the importance of maintaining human relationships thru volunteerism. Under this initiative where, we frequently visit orphanages, old age homes, schools & homes of special children to spend some quality time with the inmates. These visits showcase some of the purest human relations as these innocent hearts celebrate their Birthdays and special days, play around and enjoy the food served with love by our family members.

Sai Aarogya

Isn't it awfully heartbreaking when cheerful, happy souls are taken far away because of a merciless disease? Sai Anugraha leaves no stone unturned in identifying people suffering of chronic illness, in need of surgical operations and those who live on support of medications. It raises funds to compensate for their hospital bills and provides additional financial support to their families. Also sets up health clubs, Eye donation awareness “Open Your Eyes” programs in schools and colleges that run Blood donation drives and regular health checkups.

Livable Planet Earth

Inspired from the very last lecture given by Ex-President of India, a great teacher and a beautiful soul, Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, this initiative was renamed from “Let’s Green Our City” to “Livable Planet earth” devised in pursuit of a clean and green environment, and pollutants free water systems. 

Today the world is rapidly eating into the stocks of fuel, gas, coal, uranium and the air/water quality is degrading at alarming levels. This initiative encourages school kids to share their ideas of creating livable planet earth through essay writing and painting competitions. Regular plantation drives are a part of this initiative which tries to spread awareness related to sustainable development, water conservation, rural development and a safer world for women and children. We have conducted this initiative in more than 75 schools so far in different parts of the country.

The Plus1 Challenge

We have seen Ice bucket and Rice Bucket challenges which were also held to raise funds for some prominent issues all over the world. In its unique way of implementing fund raising campaigns Sai Anugraha came up with the Plus 1 Challenge where idea lies simply in believing one additional person to be with you and your family during your hangouts, visits to places and dinner nights. Raise the amount that you would have equally spent on one extra person during these occasions and make their day! 

In a span of 20 months since start April 2016, we raised an amount of ₹41,317/- as of today with a participating count of more than 25 Sai Anugraha family members and sponsored many activities of Sai Anugraha.

e-Receipts


As part of our Green initiative, we introduced e-receipts in 2012 there by putting an end to paper receipts which saves printing costs, paper consumption and resources to print paper. This received a great applause from everyone of you and we would like to thank you for the support. 

Achievements

1. Recognized as Grassroot groups of Cognizant CSR (Outreach).

2. For the rehabilitation and relief efforts during Tamilnadu floods, we were honored  
    with Special Jury Award from DUCT in 2016.

3. Signed MOU with APNRT to support the schools adopted under Sai Vidyalaya initiative.

4. Niranjan whom we sponsored won 2 GOLD medals and 1 SILVER medal at South Asian 
    Youth Yoga Competitions held at Colombo, Sri Lanka on 25th September 2010.

5. Students who received sponsorships from Sai Anugraha are placed in reputed 
    organizations.

6. Krishna who is deaf and dumb by birth is able to hear and speak after the operation.
7. Received 12A & was granted 80G by Income Tax Department of India.
