Dear All, Greetings from Sai Anugraha.

As part of our “Sai Lendi Baug” initiative, Shri. Balaswamy organized sapling plantation drive at Sri Sarguru Matriculation School, Theethipalayam which is 13kms from Coimbatore on 18th June 2011. He celebrated 45th Marriage day by participating in Sai Lendi Baug initiative and wanted to create awareness about sapling plantation in the school children who are future citizens of the world. Saplings were supplied free of cost by “SIRU TULI”, a voluntary organization which spreads green message and creates awareness in the people on GO GREEN.
The program was attended by Sarguru Matriculation School children, School Staff, Smt. Manimekalai - Head Mistress, Shri P. Balaswamy – Trustee A.M.Muthuramasamy Trust, Shri. Paradhaman - Manager IOB, Shri Vijay Kumar - Trustee Shri Vengusapriya SaiBaba Anandashrama Trust, Shri Manion – Marketing Manager, RIL, Shri NG Prabhuram from Siru Tuli, Karthik - Civil Engineer, Shri Govindraj.

Shri. Manion explained the burning problem of Global Warming and the need of sapling plantation to the school children. Shri. Balaswamy explained the benefits of sapling plantation by highlighting how a tree which lives for 50 years is worth 33 lakhs and explained the Sai Lendi Baug concept.

Plantation drive was started by School children and continued by Parandhaman, Vijay Kumar, Balaswamy and others. Over all the program was a grand success and we planted 45 saplings taking our plantation count to 103 under “Sai Lendi Baug”. After the drive it started raining and we felt GOD was so happy as he himself came down in the form of rain and watered all saplings and blessed all of us.

Special thanks to each and every one who were behind this plantation drive and making it a grand success. Let us hope Sai Anugraha’s vision of planting 10,000 saplings by 2020 will be fulfilled and we create more awareness in the people about GO GREEN and try our level best to keep our mother earth green and free from global warming.
