As part of our BABA Prasadalay program for the month of February , we visited Ashray Akruti, Hyderabad on 27th February 2011 from 12.00 AM to 1.30 PM.
We had cake cutting for February month birthday babies followed by lunch. Aravind & I had an excellent time with the kids of ASHRAY AKRUTI.
BABA Prasadalay :
An initiative of SAI ANUGRAHA, to make people aware of importance of volunteerism & human relationships. As part of this program, we visit orphanages, old age homes, schools & homes of special children, spend some time with inmates and have fun by celebrating their birthdays, playing games & serve the lunch.
Ashray Akruti :
Ashray Akruti is a voluntary, non-profit organization, runs a school for hearing impaired & underprivileged children. It was started in 1996 in Hyderabad. As of now there are 176 children in the school. In the residential home, there are 63 hearing impaired children. Recently they have also started Multimedia Training Center and an Early Intervention Center for hearing impaired.
