Shirdi Yatra - 2010 - Part I

First of all, on behalf of all of us, I would like to thank Baba for giving us a wonderful opportunity to visit Shirdi to seek his divine blessings. I am 100% sure that, because of his blessings only our trip was so successful without any obstacles & troubles.

People from Chennai started on 24th Feb, when Tendulkar was hitting boundaries & sixes on his way to First double century in ODI’s. They boarded the train with tons & loads of happiness by hearing the live telecast from Hyderabad through phone.

On 25th morning, people from different places like Vizianagaram, Chennai, Hyderabad, Eluru and Bangalore reached Hyderabad safely. Sai Anugraha members who are all participated in this mega event are of with different age groups ranging from 1 year old baby to Senior Citizens.All were gathered at Secunderabad railway station on 25th evening by 5:45 pm and waiting for the train to come…In the mean time, every one got introduced to others as it was very first time for all Sai Anugraha members to meet others in person.

All boarded the train with Josh & settled down in their respective seats. Started eating Hyderabad bananas followed by some snacks and everyone was very eager to start Bhajan.

Finally the bhajan was started slowly and reached its peak. Everyone sung well including a nice performance by a cute girl of age around 5 years named Gehari.

Dinner had started as soon as bhajan ended and everybody enjoyed the taste of Chapathis & Curry and everyone had cooperated very well while serving. Kudos to all who participated in serving the food to all of our family members.

Then the train had reached Nijamabad and the remaining food was distributed to all the needy at the railway station and we felt happy. Then it was the turn of Vasu who provided Coke to all the volunteers who got down at the railway station to serve the food. (Also he promised that he will be sponsoring the liquid stuff to all, during this entire trip…just kidding).

After this we discussed on one of the upcoming event which we are planning to kickoff from Ugadi and thanks a lot to Aunty (Usha Deepthi mother) for her valuable inputs. These details will be shared soon by Kishore.

Shirdi Yatra - 2010 - Part II

Hope you are all eagerly waiting for Part-II,( just like people at home are waiting for dubbing serials…Don’t take it to heart yaar..Jus 4 fun).

We woke up around 5:30 am and had our Chai/coffee and eagerly looking for Nagarsol station to come. Finally we reached there and everyone ensured that they had their luggage & family members lnaded safely. We hired 5 cabs (Red/Black & White) and started to Shirdi. Paid the toll gate (Not us Cab walaa only) and finally reached the abode of Shri sai i.e. Shirdi.

Went to the Cottages and dispersed to the respective rooms based on the email by Mr MRK Kishore. Special thanks to all who haven’t complained about anything related to the rooms & the facilities provided to them.

After all things are done we reached down stairs to have Tiffin (Which is our first preference) and had it like heavy lunch. Most of the senior citizens decided not to stick with these guys and they went to darshan without wasting much time and had it quite nicely. Then we started slowly and reached the den of our beloved Baba around 10:45 am and found that thousands of people are in the queue.

We entered the queue by saying “Shri Sachhidananda Samartha sadguru sainath Maharaj ki Jai” and each one of us started walking. A sudden twist is that, Usha Deepthi & her Family merged to another line and the remaining people went to upstairs. Then personally I decided it will take a min of 2.5 hours to have baba dasrhan.

It seems that Baba wanted some bhajan from our group, hence we started uttering OM SAI SRI SAI JAYA JAYA SAI followed by so many bhajan songs in which everybody in the Q line have participated and requested us to sing more loudly by standing in front of them. Did the bhajan continuously for all the 3 hours and got the blessings of Shri Sai through his darshan. We went into the Samadhi mandir and found that Baba is eagerly waiting for all of our Sai Anugraha family members and blessed each one of us with his love & affection.

We came out of Samadhi Mandir and everybody felt the Love & Affection that Baba is ahowing always on us. We experienced Baba’s reception & treatment given to us. No body had faced any troubles & obstacles during the entire trip.

I think with this mail you can still feel that still you are at Samadhi Mandir by looking at the smiley face of Baba…

GO GREEN

Dear All,
Sairam.

6th Feb 2010, one more memorable day for me, as this was the day of our 2nd phase GO-GREEN campaign. In our 1st phase, we from Sai Anugraha welcomed newyear 2010 by planting 7 saplings & 4 trees near my residence at perungudi, Chennai.

In 2nd phase, with the help of 10 volunteers we planted 10 trees at perungudi. We started our day with Ramalingam, digging the pits at 8 AM and every thing was ready by 10.30 AM. by that time all the volunteers gathered and we started plating by 11.30AM and every thing got over by 12.30 PM.

Special mention here about 6 years old Gehari (daughter of Madhuri & Sridhar). She started the campaign with her cute hands and actively participated in the entire program by watering all the 10 plants and doing pooja for each and every plant.

The entire program was a grand success and my dream of planting saplings in my colony fulfilled. Now it is my utmost duty to take care of all 21 plants to grow as trees by watering regularly. My neighbors helping me in watering the plants regularly.

Heart felt thanks to Annamalai uncle, Saradhi, Sridhar, Madhuri, Govind, Bharathi, Srinath & satyanarayanan. Blessings to Gehari for her help and I was very happy as my thought of creating awareness about GO-GREEN reached children as Today’s children are tomorrows citizens and future is for them.

This act is like small drop of water in the mighty ocean, but each and every drop has it value. So, let’s make our world GREEN.
