There is a Swedish proverb which everyone needs to remember throughout life - “Shared joy is double joy; shared sorrow is half sorrow.”
There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. This is what all Sai Anugraha family members strictly follow. After reading the above quote, it is time to read what we as a family have done in the month of October-2021.
In the month of October, we received an amount of ₹3,86,777/- and spent an amount of ₹7,94,937.80/- towards various initiatives such as Education Help, Food sponsorship at Old age homes & Orphanage homes, groceries sponsorship at Old age homes & Orphanage homes etc. In this month, we touched nearly 2,282 hearts & extended our helping hand.
Books OR Bricks
This initiative is prominent for Sai Anugraha as we invest in future of the nation. "Once you have Education, no one can take it away". Hence, it attracts significant importance for tomorrow's leaders to have Books in their hands and not Bricks. This initiative is to encourage students to pursue quality education by providing tuition fee assistance, school Uniforms, curriculum books and other related necessities.
Students we sponsor under Books or Bricks are single parent children or no parent children or children from below the poverty line or from families who lost their livelihood because of COVID-19.

Sai Aadhaar
This initiative plays an important role during cases of emergencies. All necessary provisions are made available to old age homes, orphanages and to the families who need support affected by natural calamities. We help the needy with relief and rehabilitation. This initiative also serves for medical emergencies such as a database of blood donors is readily made available to the ones in urgent need of a specific type or quantity of blood group.
For the month of October, we sponsored an amount of ₹1,000/- touching 7 hearts. Sponsorship for the month of October, November & December will be done in the month of December for other homes.
1. Sponsored 25 KG rice of worth ₹1,000/- at Sai Orphanage at Vizianagaram
Currently we are supporting 9 homes. We are going to add 3 more homes to the list and the total monthly expenses towards this initiative will be ₹63,000/-. We are receiving ₹30,000/- every month towards this initiative and in need of ₹33,000/- more. If anyone interested to be a regular donor, please reach us. There is no minimum/maximum.
Baba Prasadalay 365
Sai Anugraha is on its way to showcase the world the importance of maintaining human relationships through volunteerism, started Baba Prasadalay 365. Under this initiative, we sponsor food daily and visit orphanages, old age homes, schools & homes of special children to spend some quality time with the inmates. These visits showcase some of the purest human relations as these innocent hearts celebrate their Birthdays and special days, play around and enjoy the food served with love by our family members.
In October, we sponsored 2,252+ meals with an amount of ₹1,87,451/- all 31 days supported by 40 sponsors & 48 sponsorships. From 1st January 2019, we are doing non-stop food sponsorship under this initiative. On 27th October, we successfully completed 300 days in 2021. Sharing is Caring
To create a positive and powerful impact to the society, we started 'Sharing is Caring' in the year 2019. As the name explains - we are caring for the needy by sharing our love and time. As part of this, all the participants will keep ₹11/- per day and donate as monthly contribution to Sai Anugraha. In October, we received an amount of ₹17,510/-.
We are routing donations received from March Sharing is Caring towards sponsoring School & College fee under Books or Bricks initiative. Please reach us if anyone is interested to join Sharing is Caring.
Adopt A Student
From this year, we started a new initiative “Adopt A Student”. Donors if interested can reach us with the sponsorship amount and we will map a student for the amount you are interested to sponsor. We will provide regular updates & progress of the student and also will arrange in person/on call interactions with the student you sponsor. Minimum sponsorship is ₹20,000/- per year.
We got a great response to this initiative and have 40 family members participating in “Adopt A Student” initiative. Please reach us if anyone want to join.
Gift A Child – A New Dress
We are celebrating 14th Sai Anugraha Day by sponsoring new dresses to 1015 children from 25 orphanages & special homes in India. Minimum sponsorship amount is INR 1,000/-. There is no maximum limit and you can sponsor as many as you wish. Last Date: 10th December 2021
Tax Benefits - 80G Exemption
Donations to Sai Anugraha are Tax Exempted u/s 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961 and requesting your support and helping hand towards all initiatives. If interested, please send your valuable contributions to below Sai Anugraha account. You can be a monthly donor too.
