Activities of Sai Anugraha Spiritual Trust

Activities of Sai Anugraha Social Service Trust (called as Sai Anugraha)

SAI AKSHAR (Education Help)

1. Paid final Installment School Fee of INR 5,500/- for A. Ajay Kumar.

2. Paid final Installment School & Hostel fee of INR 12,000/- for P. Satish.

3. Paid 1st Year BCA college fee of INR 5000/- for S. Keerthi.

4. Rent of INR 1,000/- paid for Pallavaram Study Center, Chennai. 

Sai Aarogya (Medical Help)

1. Sponsored INR 2,000/- towards Medcial expenses of Pallavaram Study center's care taker Muthu's mother. 

BABA Prasadalay (Celebrating important days & providing lunch)

1. At Sai Orphanage , Om Mandir, Vizianagaram and sponsored 25kgs of rice. 

2. Sponsored lunch @ Ashray Akruti. Expense amount is INR 1,500/-.

3. Sponsored 3KG cake for Children's day celebrations @ Ashray Akruti. Expense amount is INR 562/-.

4. Distributed diwali sweets of INR 2,800/- to 40 children @ Pallavaram Study center kids.

SAI AADHAAR (General Service activities)

1. Provided blood donor details to the needy. 

2. Provided Scribes to write exams for Visually challenged persons. 

3. Financial help of INR 10,000/- for Rohini Srinivasan for her marriage on sudden demise of her father.

Let's Green Our City (Sapling plantation)

1. Sponsored stationary & prizes of worth INR 2,180/- for Drawing & Quiz competition on Global warming and the need of sapling plantation @ Ashray Akruti, Hyderabad.

Pending Medical Requests 

1. Need to help Narasimhulu for his kidney operation which costs around INR 3,00,000/-. 

2. Need to help Vimala for her kidney operation which costs around INR 2,00,000/-. 

3. Need to help Shali suffering with Myasthenia gravis and the operation cost is INR 2,75,000/-. 

4. Need to help Ex- Cognizant employee Geetha having Pericardial Effusion and operation cost is INR 1,25,000/-.

Pending Sai Aadhaar requests

1. Need to sponsor members of 'Dhristhi' an exclusive club for visually challenged young minds to participate in Music Fest on World Disability day on 3rd Dec 2012. 

Upcoming Activities

1. Let's Green Our City program in association with Green Brigade PKN team @ on 3rd Dec 2012 marking World Soil Day on 5th Dec 2012. Going to organize awareness drive to the children on Global Warming and importance of sapling plantation and also conducting sapling plantation drive.

ISR Club

Dear All, Greetings from Sai Anugraha. 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about Corporates which gives much importance and encouragement to its employees to do community service in the fields of Education, Health, Environment etc. Individual Social Responsibility (ISR), is about an individual becoming responsible in his/her actions that have affect on communities outside his/her immediate circle. Inspired by the concept and having few requests with us falling in to this category, Sai Anugraha starting a new initiative called 'ISR Club'. Under this initiative, we need interested volunteers to take part in below mentioned programs. 

1. To teach English and Maths daily or weekends at Shri Ramana Vidyalaya, Shollingnallur, Chennai. School is very flexible to adopt a time table to suit volunteers's availability. Training will be provided on how and what to teach. 

2. To take computer class at Shri Ramana Vidyalaya, Shollingnallur, Chennai. 

3. To teach all subjects at Sai Anugraha adopted Pallavaram Study Center, Pallavaram, Chennai on weekends for 10th - 12th class. 

4. To take care of autism kids at Navalur, OMR, Chennai. This would require patience and long term commitment as we may not surely say when the kid will be cured and completely out of Autism. 

5. To donate blood when it is needed.

6. To refer schools to organize 'Let's Green Our City' initiative. 

7. To help as scribes and write exams for visually challenged persons. 

8. To spread awareness of PEDAL WISE cycle club in your locations/companies. 

9. To take part in all initiatives of Sai Anugraha.

Diwali celebrations @ Pallavaram Study center

Dear All, Greetings from Sai Anugraha! 

8 members of Sai Anugraha family visited Pallavaram study center, Chennai and celebrated Diwali with Children on 13th Nov 2012, Tuesday and spent 3 hours. 

As part of the visit, Karthik briefed the importance of sapling plantation and conducted awareness session on global warming and the measures to control it. We also conducted quiz competition and distributed prizes to the winners.

Children were very enthusiastic and actively answered all questions when Sai Anugraha volunteers asked about career aspirations. It is very positive note to hear from the children that they want to become doctor, IAS, IPS, join Indian Army etc to serve the people and also told that they are strict against the corruption. No one is interested to become software engineer or politician :-).

Children's Day Celebrations @ Ashray Akruti

Dear All, Greetings from Sai Anugraha! 

Children's Day is observed as a special day across India marking the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal nehru. Marking the special day, 17 members of Sai Anugraha family visited Ashray Akruti, School for hearing impaired in Hyderabad on 11th Nov 2012, Sunday and spent 4 hours with the children. This is the first ever visit of Sai Anugraha after we were recognized as OUTREACH grass root group. 

As part of the visit, children's day cake cutting was done where all kids participated with great joy.

We divided children in to 3 groups i.e. Primary, Middle School and High School and conducted drawing and painting competition on the need of sapling plantation and Quiz competition on the threat of global warming to the world and measures to reduce the same. Sai Anugraha family members encouraged the children by providing suggestions on drawing and painting competitions.

                           

Prizes, sponsored by Sai Anugraha were distributed to the winners and runners up in the competitions.

Thanks to all the volunteers for bringing smiles in the innocent faces of the kids.

Lunch to all the children is also sponsored by us under monthly activity Baba Prasadalay.

Special thanks to Durga, Aravind and Usha Deepthi for planning and coordination. Special thanks to Sumita ma'am and entire teaching staff of Ashray Akruti for creating awareness to these special children on the importance of sapling plantation and threat to world because of global warming. As it is very difficult to teach these special children. 

Children will not remember you for the material things you provide them but for the love we shared with them. Looking forward for your active participation in future events too.
